Hey Rebecca - Finally found a minute to read this article. Thanks for the clear reminder on what it's all about. I still think of your messages in my day to day work, even one year after finishing the BCIT course. Good luck with launching the online program!

Will you be bringing any copies of your book to the Port Moody workshop (2012)?

I took your workshop at the Burnaby Art Gallery, but I think you said you did not have any left at that time.

I know about it all right, learned about HitRECord two months ago and I haven't been able to stop HitRECording to this day. I read an article that said it was the artist's utopia and it's so true! I also have respect for the guy (and naturally, a little crush as well), and I have even started my own little artistic project.

Everyone is so supportive and talented on there it's crazy! And they're going to do seasonal releases (like books and CD's) made by the artists on there. I'm completely in love with the place. Basically, if you're looking for inspiration, you go to HitRECord.

Hey, Tudor;

I read your blog post, and we are actually in agreement. You're right-if you're just pinning images to your boards that are hosted on other sites around the interwebz, well, that's not going to do much good for your business, website, or blog. But if you're pinning images to your boards that are hosted on your own site, then there is a much better chance people will follow the breadcrumb trail back to your site. Especially if that pin piques their interest, like it leads to a how-to or a recipe or a DIY or something like that.

It's not as clear cut as Pinterest will get your more traffic. There is a lot of fine tuning that needs to be thought about. I wrote a blog on the subject: http://bit.ly/Hwc8xQ
