Twitter for Small Business [Wednesday Infographic]

I‘m teaching Twitter this week to my classes, and it’s always one of my favourite things to do. Twitter is such an intimate medium: I know it seems like you’re talking 1-6,000 (or however many followers you have), but really, it’s like 1-1.

Twitter is amazing for businesses. More and more businesses are dealing with customer service issues via Twitter (@TelusSupport is a great example), and smart businesses are using it as a listening device. What is their clientele interested in? How can they help? One of the greatest gifts for us as businesses from social media is the ability to connect with our customers and understand what it is that they want. Sadly, though, many businesses are still trying to use old-school methods of marketing on social media. When you start to turn it around, make it not about you, and all about your client, that’s when you’ll shine.

Today’s infographic is about Twitter for small business, and comes from SearchEnginePeople.com.
